Change Skills Trainer & Consultant
I work with project sponsors and leaders delivering change initiatives, embedding technology, whilst protecting the health of their teams.
Remote teams find themselves navigating the uncertainty of change whilst facing pressing demands to deliver:
- At good speed;
- Solutions that are fit for purpose;
- People use it effectively.
Imagine growing up in a criminals-controlled town in the southernmost part of Italy. You are supporting your family in running their small shoe manufacturing and hospitality businesses. In a remote area, you find yourself under constant pressure to meet demands made by your customers, your employees, delinquents and government institutions.
Although there is a strong ambitious drive, at times, it becomes difficult to strike a healthy balance between surviving, achieving, and maintaining a positive outlook. You learn to come together as a team, become resourceful, and constantly revaluate and refine your mindset, skills, values and habits.
Over time, we learned the skills we needed to navigate change safely: collaboration, communication, trust, resilience, optimism, accountability, empathy, constructive feedback.
Flash forward, leadership and team dynamics became a passion that stayed with me. From professional football to rally car racing, to stage and improv comedy performance, to project and change delivery, the skills teams needed to succeed through uncertainty, and under pressure, were often similar.
Over the last 8 years I took part in many innovation initiatives as a change consultant and trainer. This included divestments, outsourcing, Skype for Business, Hyperion, Salesforce, Office 365, ERP, SAP roll-outs in Energy, Telecom, Internet, Marketing, FMCG/Manufacturing, Academic and staffing recruitment sectors.
A qualified Prosci Practitioner, AgilePM Practitioner, BSc in Organisational Psychology, MSc in Marketing & International Management, Coaching Practitioner (AIP), Lean Six Sigma, ITIL, Prince2. My work is supported by industry best practices acquired through, publications, webinars, programmes (234) on the topics of change, leadership and team dynamics.
Change leaders, at any level of the organisation, are ultimately responsible for both the results as well as the wellbeing and performance of their teams.
